Patient Access Specialist - PRN

Assign accurate MRNs, complete medical necessity and compliance checks, and collect insurance information for all admitted patients. Operate the telephone switchboard to relay incoming, outgoing, and inter-office calls while adhering to organizational policies. Perform pre-registration of patient accounts, obtain necessary signatures for consent forms, and review eligibility responses to support clean claim rates. Conduct audits of accounts to ensure accuracy and provide statistical data to leadership.
