Patient Access Specialist - PRN

Assign accurate MRNs, complete medical necessity and compliance checks, and collect insurance information for all hospital admissions. Operate the telephone switchboard to relay incoming and inter-office calls while adhering to organizational policies. Perform pre-registration of patient accounts, obtain necessary signatures for consent forms, and review eligibility responses to support point-of-service collections. Conduct audits of accounts to ensure forms are completed accurately and timely, providing statistical data to leadership. Explain general consent forms and distribute designated patient education documents to patients and guardians.
