Assign accurate MRNs, complete medical necessity and compliance checks, and collect insurance information for all hospital admissions. Operate the telephone switchboard to relay calls while adhering to policies and providing compassionate customer service. Process physician orders, pre-register patient accounts, and obtain necessary signatures for consent forms. Screen medical necessity using ABN software and distribute required educational documents. Utilize quality auditing systems to ensure account accuracy and provide statistical data to leadership.
