Job Summary
Conduct all paperwork for billing orientation, collect co-pays and cash receipts, and obtain necessary documentation such as patient IDs and birth certificates to complete Medicaid applications. Utilize the H.I.T. system to enter billing information, perform system audits, and update relevant data while confirming benefit eligibility and obtaining pre-authorizations. Resolve claim denials through consistent follow-up with insurance companies, third-party payers, and state agencies, and prepare weekly and monthly Medicaid billing reports. Maintain orderly patient flow, provide reception desk coverage, and complete chart audits after program termination. This Full-Time role includes a sign-on incentive up to $1,500, paid vacation, and 401(k) matching.
Required Qualifications
- High School Degree /GED
- Associate's degree preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of Medicaid and Third-Party claim procedures
- Proficiency with basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office
- Experience in Accounts Receivables
