Job Summary
Process patient applications, introduce assistance programs, and conduct benefit investigations by entering data, verifying insurance coverage, and contacting insurers. Advise healthcare providers and patients on benefits while identifying and overcoming access barriers. Handle inbound and outbound calls, manage difficult situations, and conduct follow-ups with pharmacies. Report adverse events and safety information per program requirements. Participate in pilots, new initiatives, and cross-functional teams. Requires 2–4 years of benefit investigation experience and pharmacy or insurance background.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
- six months to one-year related experience

- equivalent combination of education and experience
- Computer skills: Microsoft Office Suite
Desired Qualifications
- 2 to 4 years of benefit investigation involving the analysis and interpretation of insurance coverage
- 2 to 4 years of experience interacting with healthcare providers regarding health insurance plan requirements
- Pharmacy background/call center/health insurance or MD office experience
- Exposure to enrollment, pre-assessment & benefits' processes
- Part D claim experience
