Patient Access Specialist

On-site Patient Access Specialist responsible for admitting patients at Ardent-Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello, ID. Key duties include assigning MRNs, performing medical necessity/compliance checks, collecting and verifying insurance information, processing physician orders, pre-registration of patient accounts, patient education distribution, and support for point-of-service billing and claims accuracy. Requires high school diploma/GED and CRCR certification within 9 months of hire, plus customer-service experience and adaptability to innovative processes.
