Patient Access Scheduling Representative (Outpatient) - Full Time - Day Shift

Job Summary

Coordinate and schedule patient care for all wellness programs while facilitating communication between scheduling staff, physicians, and patient clients. Answer telephone inquiries regarding physician referrals and cover front desk duties as needed. Maintain the patient scheduling database and collaborate with patient financial services to obtain authorizations, submit retro-authorization documentation, and file appeals for denied services. Develop monthly wellness newsletters, update the website, and create promotional flyers. Requires high school education or equivalent, with a preference for an associate's degree and two years of healthcare experience. Full-time day shift position with required vaccinations and E-Verify participation.

  • E-Verify participation and understanding of Participation and Right to Work notices

Desired Qualifications

  • High School Education/GED or equivalent
  • Associate's/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience
  • Two years' healthcare experience
