Job Summary
Greet visitors and patients in person or by telephone while entering and updating demographic and financial information to ensure timely registration. Obtain applications and forms, confirm signatures, photocopy documents as needed, and provide financial responsibility information while collecting liabilities and balancing the cash box daily. Collaborate with partnering departments to complete patient encounters, offer wayfinding instructions, and coordinate admissions, bed assignments, and tracking boards. Maintain audit accuracy by working through error reports and proactively resolving issues. Uphold safety policies by reporting environmental hazards and complying with all protocols. Work variable schedules between 6 AM and 12 AM, including days, evenings, weekends, and occasional overtime, with full flu vaccination required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- 6+ months of experience in an office setting, customer service setting (over the phone or face to face), phone support role, or call center environment
- Intermediate level of proficiency with Windows applications
- Full Flu vaccination
- Ability to work 40 hours per week in 4 separate 10-hour shifts, between the hours of 6:00am - 12:00am
- Ability to work occasional weekends & holidays per business need
- Must be 18 years of age OR older
- Candidates located in states that mandate Flu booster doses must also comply with those state requirements

Desired Qualifications
- 1+ years of registration experience in a hospital OR medical setting
- Understanding of medical terminology
- Working knowledge of insurance policies and procedures and patient care settings
