Job Summary
Check-in and check-out patients at assigned practices while performing operational support functions including scheduling visits, tests, and surgical procedures. Greet patients, answer and direct telephone calls, and execute various clerical and administrative duties as needed. May cover different offices based on direction. Requires high school diploma, strong computer skills, and one year of medical office experience or equivalent. Fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID-19 or exempt per policy. Day shift from 8:30am to 5:00pm with a salary range of $17.86 to $28.76 per hour. Reports to the Practice Manager or Administrator.
Required Qualifications
- Equal to the completion of 4 years of high school
- Good computer and typing skills
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Good organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired
Desired Qualifications
- One year of medical office practice experience
- Graduation from a medical secretary program
- The equivalent of graduation from a medical secretary program
