Job Summary
Check-in and check-out patients at assigned practices, then perform operational support functions including scheduling patient visits, tests, and surgical procedures. Greet patients, answer and direct telephone calls, and execute various clerical and administrative duties. May cover different offices as needed or directed. This role requires a high school diploma, strong computer skills, and one year of medical office experience or equivalent training. Candidates must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID-19. The position offers a competitive hourly rate between $17.86 and $28.76, with benefits including tuition assistance and a 403B retirement plan.
Required Qualifications
- Equal to the completion of 4 years of high school
- Good computer and typing skills
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Good organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus
- Must be available to sign a statement certifying exemption from vaccination for medical or personal reasons
Desired Qualifications
- One year of medical office practice experience
- Graduation from a medical secretary program
- Equivalent experience to graduation from a medical secretary program
