Job Summary
Check-in and check-out patients at assigned practices, perform operational support functions including scheduling patient visits, tests, and surgical procedures, and greet patients while answering and directing telephone calls. Execute various clerical and administrative functions and cover different offices as needed. Requires high school diploma, one year of medical office experience preferred, and full vaccination against seasonal influenza and COVID-19. Full-time day shift from 8:00am to 4:30pm with a $1,500 new hire sign-on bonus. Reports to the Practice Manager or Administrator.
Required Qualifications
- Equal to the completion of 4 years of high school
- Good computer and typing skills
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Good organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired
Desired Qualifications
- One year of medical office practice experience
- Graduation from a medical secretary program
- The equivalent of graduation from a medical secretary program
