Patient Access Representative (SEIU), Per Diem, Variable shift

Accurately register patients, interview for account details, and verify insurance while calculating and collecting liability amounts. Obtain necessary signatures for treatment, check physician orders, and attach them to records to ensure correct tests are received. Print and collate paperwork for distribution to units or departments, escort patients to their areas, or refer them to available escorts. Answer patient questions and explain policies clearly. Follow guidelines from senior staff and perform other assigned duties. This per diem, variable shift role is represented by SEIU and requires adherence to Adventist Health's vaccination and E-Verify requirements.
