Job Summary
Register patients for procedures and appointments, verify demographics and insurance details, and coordinate scheduling to ensure a smooth patient experience in the NYP Queens Rehabilitation department. Serve as a welcoming, supportive presence and document pre-certifications/authorizations; on-site, Monday–Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm. Preferred EPIC EMR experience; bilingual (Spanish) helpful for patient communication.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 1 year of clerical experience
- Strong computer proficiency
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask, work independently, and maintain a positive, energetic attitude
