Job Summary
Schedule patient appointments across clinics based on provider availability, patient needs, and location. Manage referrals end-to-end, ensuring accurate patient, insurance, and documentation details. Communicate proactively with patients and teams about scheduling updates, cancellations, and missing information. Deliver a high-quality, patient-first experience while assisting with questions and providing support. Accurately document scheduling activity and coordinate with internal teams to resolve issues. Ensure compliance with HIPAA, insurance workflows, and documentation standards. Collaborate with clinic and regional teams while contributing ideas to improve processes and patient access. Full-time, 40 hours/week. Pay range $21-23/hour.
Required Qualifications
- Strong communication, collaboration, and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong problem solving and adaptability skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort using EMR and scheduling platforms.
- Professional, empathetic, and patient-centered approach.
- At minimum, a High School or GED diploma
Desired Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in healthcare scheduling, patient access, or customer service
- Experience using EMR systems and scheduling platforms
