Job Summary
Conduct patient registration by confirming demographic information, verifying benefits, and scheduling or coordinating post-discharge care. Collect copays or payments, balance accounts, and perform general data entry to maintain accurate records. Preregister, register, and discharge patients according to defined guidelines while providing excellent customer service. Requires full-time days 4x10 or 5x8 schedule, BLS certification, and fingerprint clearance. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- BLS through American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- DPS Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
- 1+ years' experience working in a customer service and/or office setting
- Able to reach above and below shoulder level
- Able to lift
- Able to bend
- Able to kneel
- Able to squat
- Able to stand
- Able to walk
- Able to sit for the full scheduled shift
- Able to use business office equipment/computer
- No need for immigration support (i.e., H-1B, TN, STEM OPT Training Plans, etc.)
