Patient Access Representative | Outpatient Therapies | 40hrs/week

As a Patient Access Representative at Sanford Health, you will be the first point of contact for patients, greeting and verifying demographics, registering patients, collecting payments, coordinating scheduling and referrals, handling pre-authorizations, operating a multi-line phone, and supporting patient flow through the clinic and telemedicine processes. Responsibilities include greeting patients, creating/scanning/routing documents, informing patients about documents and obtaining signatures, establishing financial responsibility, collecting co-payments and payments, coordinating with nursing and providers to schedule appointments, arranging interpreter services, managing recalls and waitlists, and performing office duties such as chart preparation and document handling. Preferred qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, one year of medical office experience, and knowledge of medical terminology with strong customer service skills.
