Job Summary
Arrange efficient and accurate collection of information for the registration of pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. Collect and distribute patient, billing, and collection data while making patients and families aware of hospital policies and procedures. Exercise courtesy when speaking with patients, families, and others to maintain sound community relations. Requires six months of clerical or customer service experience, preferably in a hospital or medical office, along with excellent communication skills, computer proficiency, and 30 wpm typing speed. Schedule runs from 12 noon to 8:30 pm with weekend rotations.
Required Qualifications
- Six months clerical or customer service experience
- Excellent communication and strong customer service skills
- Working knowledge and ability to perform accurately and efficiently on computer
- Typing skills of 30 wpm
- Weekend Requirements: Yes- Rotating Basis
