Job Summary
Patient Access Representative role at a healthcare facility in Cambridge, MA. Responsibilities include greeting and registering patients, collecting/co-payments and balances, assisting with kiosk check-in, completing Medicare Secondary Payer questionnaires, obtaining signatures for consent and financial forms, informing patients about non-covered services and obtaining authorizations (e.g., ABNs), monitoring waiting areas and providing updates for a positive patient experience, completing registrations for admitted patients with missing information, addressing patient concerns professionally, and maintaining a confidential, organized registration area. Requires healthcare/front desk registration experience, strong communication, discretion with sensitive information, and proficiency with healthcare systems and forms. 10 openings with start date around July 7; shifts are Monday to Friday with two possible time ranges.
