Job Summary
Provide courteous assistance to patients and physician offices while scheduling and registering patients for diagnostic imaging procedures. Responsible for collecting accurate demographic, insurance, and billing information, scheduling appointments, and performing any other necessary duties for efficient patient services. Requires excellent communication skills, organizational abilities, and attention to detail. Previous experience in health care scheduling, customer service, and a computerized scheduling system is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent medical scheduling or customer service experience
- 1-3+ years related health care scheduling for multiple locations, medical terminology, physician billing and/or medical reception/medical office experience preferred
- Previous customer service background required
- Call center or phone experience preferred
Desired Qualifications
- Bilingual is a plus!
- Experience working with a computerized scheduling system preferred.
