Job Summary
Answer phone calls, route messages to appropriate team members, and deliver patient information accurately. Schedule appointments for physicians, therapists, and nurses; contact clients to reschedule or provide reminders. Perform patient registration duties including identification, EMR documentation of demographics and insurance details, and collect co-pays. Process mail, faxes, and copy requests while troubleshooting printer issues and preparing work orders. Requires one-year college or high school diploma with relevant experience, strong organizational skills, and knowledge of medical terminology. Pay range $21 to $23 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- One-year college/technical school or High school diploma (equivalent) with one-year relevant experience
- Strong organizational skills
- Knowledge of medical procedures and medical terminology
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to effectively use an electronic medical record
- Ability to work in a fast paced outpatient family and behavioral health clinic environment
