Job Summary
Answer phone calls, route messages accurately, and deliver information to the care team in a timely fashion. Schedule appointments for physicians, therapists, and nurses; contact clients to reschedule or provide reminders. Perform patient registration duties, including identification and EMR documentation of demographic, insurance, and check-in details. Collect and process co-pays, and handle mail, faxes, and printer troubleshooting as needed. Requires one-year college or high school diploma with relevant experience, strong organizational skills, and knowledge of medical terminology. Pay range is $21 to $23 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- One-year college/technical school or High school diploma (equivalent) with one-year relevant experience
- Strong organizational skills
- Knowledge of medical procedures and medical terminology
- Excellent oral and written communication skills required
- Ability to effectively use an electronic medical record
- Ability to work in a fast paced outpatient family and behavioral health clinic environment
