Job Summary
Patient Access Center Representative responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and scheduling support. Responsibilities include scheduling appointments via multiple channels (telephone, Solutionreach, and EMR), rescheduling as needed, processing referrals, assisting with patient communications and mailings, and supporting departmental projects during low call volume. Requires high school diploma or GED, strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Experience in healthcare setting strongly preferred
- Experience using multi-line telephone systems and computer applications
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced office environment
