Job Summary
Greeting patients and visitors in a medical office, answering questions, directing inquiries, and handling phone calls while using medical office software to schedule and register patients. Responsible for completing insurance verifications, authorizations, referrals, and maintaining patient records with confidentiality. Requires managing daily patient financial responsibilities and supporting administrative duties across multiple JAG Physical Therapy locations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a medical assistant certificate program preferred
- 1+ years of experience as medical receptionist/administrative assistant in healthcare
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Availability to travel throughout JAG locations for coverage per Travel policy
