Job Summary
Greet patients, answer calls, and direct visitors while utilizing medical office software to schedule appointments and register new patients. Collect daily patient financial responsibility, distribute paperwork, and maintain accurate records with strict confidentiality. Complete and track insurance verifications, authorizations, and referrals, including Workers' Compensation and Auto claim submissions. Perform diverse duties as requested, including travel throughout JAG locations for coverage. This role supports the care-first model of JAG Physical Therapy's 100 facilities across Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years of experience working as a medical receptionist/administrative assistant in the health care field
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Availability to travel throughout JAG locations for coverage
- Knowledge of Workers' Compensation and Auto claim submissions
Desired Qualifications
- Completion of a medical assistant certificate program preferred
