Patient Access Representative II, ED Part-Time, Baptist Silverleaf

Registers patients accurately in the Emergency Department and supports patient access across multiple interfaces using multiple systems; performs front-desk and telephonic encounters with a focus on service excellence while maintaining HIPAA privacy and adherence to EMTALA, AHCA, and JCAHO regulations. Cross-trains to other patient access areas, articulates consent forms and compliance documentation, and contributes to patient access goals (collections, palm scanning, etc.). Requires strong customer service in healthcare settings and familiarity with insurance processes.
