Job Summary
Patient Access Representative I at SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Pediatric Urgent Care (Part-time evenings). Responsible for scheduling patients for prescribed procedures, gathering demographic, insurance and clinical information, entering data into the system, coordinating schedules, assisting with insurance pre-certification/authorization, and counseling patients or their representatives on pre-service requirements. Performs clerical and reception duties related to patient registration and supports teamwork, problem-solving, and communication to ensure a smooth patient experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma/GED or 10 years of work experience
- Experience with EHR and patient registration preferred
- Proficient computer skills
- Excellent customer service skills
