Job Summary
Gathers information from patients and enters demographics into the appropriate database, schedules procedures to optimize patient time and clinical resources, coordinates and communicates schedules, assists with insurance pre-certification/authorization, provides counseling on pre-service requirements, and performs clerical/reception duties related to patient registration; requires strong communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and the ability to support patients and staff in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma/GED or 10 years of work experience
- Experience with Patient Access/ Registration, EHR, medical insurance, and Customer Service experience preferred
