Patient Access Representative I

Verify patient identity, select correct records, and review physician orders to register patients for appropriate services. Scan insurance cards, IDs, and legal documents while entering demographic and insurance data into the electronic health record. Explain and complete complex regulatory and compliance documents, collect co-payments and deposits, and perform secure transactions. Greet patients and families, answer questions, and ensure timely arrival at service areas. Perform scheduling, pre-admission, and discharge duties while providing supervision and updates to waiting room families. Work third shift nights (7:00pm–7:30am) and every other weekend.
