Job Summary
Handle patient phone inquiries, route messages to care team, schedule and coordinate appointments for MDs/NPs/therapists/nurses/nutritionals; perform patient registration with demographic, insurance, and check-in details in EMR; collect co-pays and provide receipts; manage mail, faxes, copies, and supplies; supports clinic operations with attention to detail and timely communication.
Required Qualifications
- One-year college/technical school or High school diploma (equivalent) with one-year relevant experience
- Strong organizational skills
- Knowledge of medical procedures and medical terminology
- Excellent oral and written communication skills required
- Ability to effectively use an electronic medical record
- Ability to work in a fast paced outpatient family and behavioral health clinic environment
