Job Summary
Patient Access Representative provides front-desk and registration support, handling patient admissions, forms assembly, phone duties, and payments. Responsibilities include admitting patients, collecting co-payments/deductibles, maintaining confidentiality per HIPPA guidelines, communicating with insurance carriers and staff, documenting charges and ensuring accuracy, and contributing to workflow improvements. Required: high school diploma or equivalent, 2+ years of clerical experience, strong communication and MS Office skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment; preferred: prior medical clerical experience.
Required Qualifications
