Job Summary
Position Title: Patient Access Representative (FT). Responsible for registering patients, verifying insurance eligibility/benefits, obtaining pre-authorizations, collecting upfront co-pays/deductibles, balancing daily cash, and ensuring accurate data entry into the electronic health record. Provides customer service to patients and families, answers inquiries, refers complex billing questions to financial counselors, and supports department efficiency. May float to other areas and work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours. Lead PAR duties include supervising PAR staff, QA audits, scheduling coverage, participating in hiring, and driving process improvements. Requires high school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of related experience; BLS certification is required. Exposure to blood/body fluids possible as part of position. Location: Kingman, AZ, USA.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service and/or office setting for PAR
- Lead PAR: Minimum of 1 year of registration or billing experience in a healthcare setting
- American Heart Association BLS
