Job Summary
Greet and direct patients and families to testing and surgical areas in the facility in a courteous and welcoming manner; assist highly mobile patients with transportation and support as needed. Register and verify patient information expediently in the registration system, maintain confidentiality of medical information, and communicate effectively with staff. Serve as a preceptor for new hires and participate in ongoing education; perform other duties as assigned by PAS leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree or 2 years formal education or equivalent experience
- Two (2) years' work experience in customer service, healthcare or business-related field
- PRN - as needed for coverage for call-ins, PTO coverage, etc. No set number of hours per week.
Additional Requirements
- Vaccination requirement: Munson Healthcare requires all employees be vaccinated or have lab confirmed immunity for Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella; flu vaccine requirement or approved exemption.
