Patient Access Representative

Pre-admit, admit, and register patients by interviewing them for demographic and financial information, verifying insurance benefits, and collecting patient portions. Interview patients for demographic and financial information, verify insurance benefits, explain financial requirements, and obtain signatures while scanning documents into the electronic patient record. Maintain accuracy within departmental guidelines and demonstrate integrity regarding patient confidentiality. Utilize technology to verify and document insurance eligibility accurately and timely. Serve as a mentor to new associates.
