Job Summary
Answer patient phone calls to assist with scheduling appointments and provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers. Assist patients with check-in and check-out during appointments while ensuring all patient data is up to date and remains confidential. Work as an integral member of the clinical team to build a positive environment by cooperating with staff, providers, and peers across departments. Blue Ridge Health is a nonprofit system of Federally Qualified Health Centers dedicated to improving health and advancing healing through access to compassionate, affordable, and quality care in Western North Carolina.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
Desired Qualifications
- One-year experience working in a medical office environment
- Stellar communication skills that allow you to easily and effectively communicate with staff, patients, providers, peers, supervisors and community stakeholders
- A team player that can help build a positive environment by working cooperatively with other individuals and departments throughout the organization
- A desire to work with an interdisciplinary healthcare team and culturally diverse patient population
