Job Summary
Patient Access Representative responsible for scheduling and registration, insurance verification, and financial clearance for pediatric patients; deliver warm, professional front-desk service, maintain accurate patient demographics and records, coordinate appointments in electronic systems, communicate with patients and care teams, ensure HIPAA compliance, and support clinic operations. Bilingual in Spanish is required. Requires a high school diploma or GED and at least three years of healthcare front-desk experience; pediatric office experience and proficiency with EHR systems are preferred. Schedule includes a full-time workload (38 hours/week) with a rotating Saturday half-day.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Minimum of three consecutive years of employment with a single employer within a healthcare field
- Bilingual in Spanish
- Previous front desk, receptionist, or patient registration experience in a healthcare setting
