Job Summary
Register patients timely and accurately; interview patients for all pertinent account information; verify insurance and calculate/collect patient liability; obtain necessary signatures for treatment; check for physician orders and attach them to the patient record to ensure correct tests are received; print and collate paperwork for distribution to units/departments; escort patients to their area or refer to available escort as needed; ensure proper documentation and follow-up per policies.
Required Qualifications
- High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred
- Associate’s/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred
