Patient Access Representative

Conduct timely and accurate patient registration by interviewing patients for pertinent account information, verifying insurance, calculating and collecting liability amounts, and obtaining necessary signatures. Answer patient questions, explain policies clearly, and check for physician orders to attach them to appropriate records before ensuring correct tests are received. Print and collate paperwork for distribution to units or departments, and escort patients to their areas or refer them to available escorts as needed. Work onsite at the Tulare, CA location on 8-hour variable shifts for a per-diem position. Follow guidelines from senior staff and perform other assigned job-related duties.
