Job Summary
Patient Access Representative responsible for timely and accurate patient registration, interviewing patients for account information, verifying insurance, collecting patient liability, obtaining necessary signatures for treatment, checking physician orders and attaching them to the patient record, printing/collating paperwork for distribution to units, and escorting patients as needed. Must follow guidelines from senior staff, ensure proper health plan selection and authorization information, and comply with E-Verify and vaccination requirements. Location note: Simi Valley, CA. Night shift suggested.
Required Qualifications
- High School Education/GED or equivalent (preferred)
- Associate’s/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience (preferred)
- E-Verify participation and Right to Work notices understanding
- Vaccinations as a condition of employment (where applicable)
