Job Summary
Greet patients and visitors with a smile, obtain demographics, and update patient profiles while ensuring proper identification. Collect payments, scan insurance cards and IDs into the EMR system, and assist with billing concerns or payment plans. Answer incoming phone calls and emails promptly, confirm unconfirmed appointments, and schedule or reschedule future visits. Monitor the lobby to manage wait times, verify insurance eligibility prior to provider visits, and ensure daily appointment checkouts are complete. Maintain a tidy waiting room and assist patients with online registration forms.

Desired Qualifications
- One year of experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting
- General knowledge of medical terminology and billing
- Experience working with an electronic medical records system, specifically eClinicalWorks (eCW)
