Job Summary
Greet patients and visitors with a smile, then obtain and confirm demographics to update profiles and ensure accurate scheduling and billing. Collect payments, scan insurance cards and IDs into the EMR system, and set up payment plans for those unable to pay balances. Answer high volumes of incoming phone calls and emails, confirm unconfirmed appointments, and monitor the lobby to inform patients of any provider delays. Schedule or reschedule appointments, verify insurance eligibility and registration prior to provider visits, and ensure all appointments in eCW are checked out daily. Assist patients with online registration difficulties and maintain a tidy waiting room.

Desired Qualifications
- One year of experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting
- General knowledge of medical terminology and billing
- Experience working with an electronic medical records system, specifically eClinicalWorks (eCW)
