Job Summary
Patient Access Representative providing registration, scheduling, and financial-clearance duties across the health system. Responsibilities include registering patients, processing co-payments/deductibles/balances, obtaining signatures on financial documents and ABNs, guiding patients through consent forms, maintaining patient confidentiality, and coordinating scheduling across departments with attention to accurate demographic/insurance information and first-call resolution where possible. Extensive training on EHR systems is provided; role emphasizes customer-focused service, accurate data entry, and adherence to privacy and safety protocols in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school degree or equivalent
- 1-3 years related work experience
- Experience with computer systems including web-based applications and MS Office (Outlook/Word/Excel)
