Job Summary
Patient Access Rep (Reception) / Telecommunications Specialist (switchboard) at Neuroscience Group. Full-time position across two clinic sites (Neenah and Appleton) managing front-desk tasks and centralized phone communications. Responsibilities include opening/closing the clinic, patient registration and check-in, scheduling, greeting patients, routing calls via the switchboard, verifying insurance, collecting co-pays, handling payment arrangements, HIPAA-compliant confidentiality, maintaining the reception area, and supporting billing processes. The role requires two years of customer-service experience, familiarity with health insurance, experience with patient registration and appointment scheduling in a computerized system, financial knowledge for postings, and solid computer/keyboard skills. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Two years' experience in customer service-related field
- Prior experience with health insurance preferred
- Experience with patient registration and appointment scheduling on a computerized system
- Financial knowledge as it relates to posting payments, charges, and balancing
- Basic computer knowledge and keyboarding skills
