Register patients accurately to ensure database integrity and facilitate claims processing while applying financial screening guidelines for collectable accounts. Verify benefits on all encounters, audit charts for accuracy, and obtain necessary signatures and authorizations electronically or by telephone. Collect and enter accurate demographics, diagnosis codes, and insurance information into the Electronic Medical Record, following departmental procedures and regulatory guidelines for Medicare Secondary Payer and Medicaid charity care. Collaborate with physicians and office staff to secure financial reimbursement and maintain customer satisfaction. Requires high school diploma, one year healthcare experience, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Pay range $18.21–$22.74; scheduled 24 hours weekly.
