Job Summary
The Patient Access Referral Coordinator is responsible for handling patient referral documents in compliance with confidentiality standards, managing appointments, maintaining referral records, and assisting with HIPAA activities in a medical office setting.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of two (2) years of post-high school training in office management or similar course of study
- One (1) year of medical office work experience
- At least one (1) year of medical terminology experience
- Able to work without supervision
- Understand English grammar and office etiquette
- Possess clerical skills & able to operate office equipment
- Organizational skills and ability to work under deadlines

- Demonstrate familiarity with Microsoft Office products
