Job Summary
Patient Access Supervisor coordinates and coaches registration and pre-registration activities, trains staff, monitors daily productivity and reporting, manages staff scheduling and on-call rotations, and supports day-to-day Revenue Cycle operations under the Patient Access Leadership. The role requires overseeing onboarding, ensuring compliance, and driving process improvements with a focus on patient experience and efficient throughput. On-site at Bon Secours - Mary Immaculate Hospital in Newport News, VA. Qualifications include CHAM and CRCR certifications, a high school diploma or GED with 2-year/associate or 4-year/bachelor’s degree, and 2–3 years of supervisory healthcare or related experience; familiarity with AI applications to manage and improve processes is valued. Compensation ranges from $47,400 to $59,250 per year, plus eligible benefits and professional development opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Healthcare Access Management (CHAM)
- Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR)
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2 Year/ Associates Degree or 4 year/ Bachelor's Degree
- 2-3 years of supervisory experience in healthcare or business field (preferred)
- Ability to lead/direct others; high degree of analytical ability; working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of registration, insurance, scheduling, and/or verification and hospital billing
- Demonstrated advanced usage of AI and the management of teams using AI to lean in to process and technological improvements
