Patient Access & Pre-Access Manager

Oversee strategic and operational functions for patient access and pre-access teams, managing multi-site operations for admitting, registration, and financial services departments. Directly supervise staff to ensure accurate MRN assignment, medical necessity compliance, and proper financial processing including cash drawer balancing and timely deposits. Develop departmental budgets, establish performance goals, and coordinate staffing schedules to optimize daily coverage and meet organizational financial targets. Monitor KPIs, prepare monthly reports, and lead recruitment, onboarding, and professional development for supervisors and staff. Serve as a liaison for internal and external stakeholders to resolve escalated issues and drive process improvements that enhance efficiency and patient satisfaction.
