Job Summary
Facilitate patient access throughout the organization by performing a wide variety of duties under general direction. Insure patient compliance with applicable hospital policy and obtain accurate patient information to ensure patient safety and optimal reimbursement in accordance with various external regulations. Determine and actively collect patient liabilities while maintaining records. Requires Medical Terminology Certificate, three years of related healthcare experience including working with third-party payers, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID-19 or exempt per signed statement. Schedule includes day and evening shifts with weekend and holiday rotation; pay ranges from $18.40 to $28.65 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Equal to completion of four years of high school plus additional courses or training required
- Medical Terminology Certificate required
- Demonstrated communication & interpersonal skills
- Strong computer skills including medical based programs
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word and Excel
- Three (3) years related health care experience including working with third party payers
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired

Desired Qualifications
- Associates Degree preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word and Excel, and other software programs is preferred
- CHAM (Certified Healthcare Access Manage) or CHAA (Certified Healthcare Access Associate) preferred
