Patient Access Emergency Midnight Coordinator

Obtain patient demographic data and input it into the Health Information Management System. Operate the facility telecommunication system to address internal and external phone traffic requests while monitoring the hospital alarm system. Register patients, post billing charges, set up transports, and facilitate consults between physicians. Direct patients and visitors to the Emergency Department and assist clinical staff in coordinating smooth patient flow and transfers to external facilities. Perform general clerical tasks and train new staff on job requirements. Work night shifts starting at 11:00 pm with 8-hour rotations, including weekends, as part of the Emergency Services team at Marshfield Medical Center-Dickinson.
