Job Summary
Coordinate patient eligibility and enrollment across Medi-Cal, Covered CA, CSV Sliding Fee Program, Cal-Fresh, and related services; schedule and conduct one-on-one enrollment meetings; assist patients with income proof and self-declaration forms; provide high-quality customer service with dignity and respect; educate patients on healthcare benefits and annual benefits; conduct community outreach and contribute to site improvements; document encounters in the EMR and ensure timely follow-up while maintaining confidentiality and security; support the mission of Clinica Sierra Vista and work with a diverse patient population including English/Spanish speakers.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from high school or completion of a General Equivalency Degree (GED)
- Basic Computer Skills
- Valid California driver license and current automobile insurance
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks well
- Ability to work well independently and with others
- Bilingual ability (English/Spanish) desirable
- Experience or desire to work with low-income families
- Ability to follow directions, learn new skills and meet deadlines
