Job Summary
Greet patients, manage check-in/check-out, and schedule follow-up appointments while verifying information and handling payments. Maintain accurate daily financial records and EMR documentation, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and insurance processes. Support clinic operations by managing phones, schedules, referrals, and resolving access or scheduling issues through collaboration with therapists. Deliver a positive patient experience by addressing concerns professionally and assisting with special projects or coverage support as needed. Full-time position with a pay range of $16-$19/hour.
Required Qualifications
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a busy clinic environment.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to collect payments and discuss financial responsibility confidently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort using multiple software systems.
- Professional, empathetic, and patient-centered approach.
- Ability to follow workflows, protocols, and compliance requirements.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- At minimum, a High School or GED diploma
Desired Qualifications
- 1–2 years of customer service or healthcare front office experience preferred.
- Experience using EMR systems and scheduling platforms strongly preferred.
